Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT hardware and software, including servers, desktops, laptops, and networking equipment.
Ensure the stability and efficiency of the network, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless infrastructure.
Manage and support the deployment of operating systems, software applications, and system updates.
Cybersecurity & Data Protection:
Develop and implement data security policies and procedures to protect sensitive information and ensure compliance with regulations.
Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity, and manage the implementation of firewalls, anti-virus software, and intrusion detection systems (IDS).
Conduct regular security assessments, including vulnerability testing, penetration testing, and audits.
Respond to security breaches or incidents, providing timely solutions to mitigate risks and minimize impact
Firewall & Network Security:
Configure, maintain, and monitor firewalls to ensure secure and reliable access to internal and external networks.
Set up and manage virtual private networks (VPNs) for secure remote access.
Ensure network security protocols are up-to-date and perform regular reviews of firewall rules and policies.
Team Management & Collaboration:
Lead a team of IT support specialists, providing mentorship, training, and performance evaluations.
Collaborate with other departments to understand their IT needs and provide tailored solutions.
Work closely with external vendors and service providers to manage IT-related contracts and ensure high service quality.
IT Strategy & Planning:
Develop and implement an IT strategy that aligns with the companys goals and objectives.
Manage the IT budget, including hardware and software purchases, and plan for future technology needs.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement innovative solutions to enhance IT operations.
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of IT systems, network configurations, and software licenses.
Prepare regular reports on IT performance, security incidents, and project progress for senior management.
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including servers, storage solutions, and network devices.
Proficiency in managing firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA) and other network security tools.
Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
Familiarity with data backup solutions and disaster recovery planning.
