Post- Plant Operation Manager (1)

Location- Nashik- Maharashtra

Objectives

• Ideate and implement strategic improvements for operation, supply chain, quality, and labor utilization throughout the facility
• Provide leadership to ensure effective utilization of plant personnel and equipment
• Collaborate with functional departments in the implementation of improvements
• Investigate and implement innovative manufacturing processes to reduce costs and improve product quality
• Apply lean manufacturing principles in designing, specifying, and validating world-class manufacturing processes that achieve organizational goals

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate manufacturing operations for supply chain, machinery, processing, and packaging departments
• Ensure that production line schedules are in accordance with facility capabilities
• Manage materials replenishment, quality standards, and performance metrics in support of organizational goals and objectives
• Manage cost structures for manufacturing by keeping operational expenses within budget allowance, and investigate cost-reduction measures
• Create documentation protocols and ensure that all records of operations are properly maintained and reviewed
• Monitoring plant operation data, analyzing against standard procedures, making presentations & supply monthly reports to the Director, including Work in Progress statistics
• Perform daily inspection of the facility to ensure HSE is maintained at the highest level
• Product Quality, Preventive Maintenance, Continuous Improvement
• Experienced in manging the contractor and contract labour staff
• Ensure all company licenses, insurance policies, legal & regulatory (lesioning) compliances remain up to date.
• Ensure all company legal and regulatory documents are held securely and appropriately protected.
• Perform other administrative duties as required to ensure the smooth running of the factory office

Required skills and qualifications

• Graduate/Post-graduate in Chemical with 10 or more years of experience in plant operations & administration
• Proven skills in leadership and supervision
• Demonstrated understanding of lean manufacturing principles

Preferred skills and qualifications

• Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in operations management, business, engineering, or related field
• The ideal candidate would need to be enthusiastic, a team player and have can do attitude.
