Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Marketing & Sales Lead for B2B & Institutional Sales for our Agrochemical division, focusing on Pesticides and Fertilizers. This leadership role will be responsible for driving sales, developing and managing large-scale client relationships, and expanding market share within the B2B and institutional segments.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Sales Leadership : Develop and implement sales strategies tailored to the B2B and institutional sectors within the agrochemical industry, focusing on pesticides and fertilizers.
Market Expansion : Identify and tap into new business opportunities, establishing a strong presence in both domestic and international markets.
Client Relationship Management : Build and nurture long-term relationships with key clients, including large-scale agribusinesses, cooperatives, and institutional buyers, to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty.
Sales Target Achievement : Set, monitor, and achieve sales targets, ensuring the companys growth and profitability objectives are met or exceeded.
Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with marketing, R&D, and supply chain teams to ensure product alignment, timely delivery, and alignment with market demand.
Team Development : Lead, mentor, and develop the B2B sales team to enhance productivity, motivation, and skill levels to meet dynamic industry requirements.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Business Management, or a related field. MBA from tier 1 institute is preferred.
Experience :
Minimum of 15+ years in B2B and institutional sales, specifically in the agrochemical or related agriculture industry (pesticides, fertilizers) only.
Skills:
Strong strategic mindset, excellent client relationship and negotiation skills, leadership abilities, and deep understanding of agrochemical sales cycles and industry practices.
Preferred Qualities:
- Proven track record of expanding B2B sales in the agriculture sector.
- Familiarity with agrochemical regulations and a strong network within the agriculture and agrochemical industry.
