Stewarding Supervisor ( Lounge - Domestic & International)

He / She is responsible to assist the chief kitchen steward to enforce the highest possible cleanliness and hygiene standards in all food processing facilities, as well as the operating equipments. Main responsibilities include dish room operations, night cleaning, back area cleaning and equipment's maintenance, banquet plating and food running.

• Strive to uphold all hygiene and sanitation regulations, ensuring that all equipment in the kitchens and dishwashing areas are clean and in good working order, being sure to report any deficiencies
• Lead and supervise the Night Stewarding team in all aspects of the department and ensure standards are followed
• Assisting colleagues, steward management and culinary team to work to their greatest ability
• Assist with food safety compliance
• Assist with food production compliance
• Conduct training and retraining as necessary
• Maintain effective business relationship with staff
• Tour areas of responsibilities at least 2-4 times daily
• Responsible for the maintenance and preventive maintenance of all kitchen and dish room equipment
• Familiarize yourself with Company Health and Safety Policies and ensure your areas promote and comply with them

• Employers hiring for the stewarding supervisor job most commonly would prefer for their future employee to have a relevant degree such as College and University Degree in Hospitality, Business, Management, Tourism, Hospitality Management, Culinary, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Associates, Culinary Arts, Hotel Management

Experiences:

• High school diploma or GED required, culinary degree preferred
• Minimum one-year supervisory experience, preferably in a full-service stewarding operation
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, to include AM and PM shifts, weekends and holidays
• Closely work together with the Head Chef on development of the department according to divisional
• Preferably with related experience
• Good teamwork and accountable
• Shift duty is required
