Demi Chef de Partie ( Lounge - Domestic & International)

JOB SCOPE

To manage day-to-day food production operations at the unit. Lead and supervise a team of DCDP/Commis for efficient food production. Implement organizational SOP-Culinary within areas of responsibility. Contribute towards culinary innovation and operational efficiency (both cost and quality)

To supervise and execute food production in compliance with the guidelines provided by Sous

Chef/Exec Sous Chef/Exec Chef

▪ To ensure the Food Quality is in accordance with the prescribed standards

▪ To Monitor and be responsible for adherence to Safety, Hygiene and Cleanliness standards &

procedures in respective area of responsibility

▪ Ensure availability of stock and raw materials through proper planning and co-ordination with the Purchase department.

▪ Efficient roster planning of commis by identifying busy periods

▪ Ensure quality food production while implementing food promotions, food festivals and other unit specific and companywide activities

▪ Efficient usage of resources to ensure food cost is maintained below budget

▪ Ensure health and safety regulations are adhered to in their areas of responsibility.

▪ Able to spot and resolve problems efficiently.

▪ Supervise and train team members to achieve good performance standards.

▪ Maintain a positive and professional approach with co-workers and guests.

▪ Contribute to the Companys overall customer services satisfaction standards

▪ Accountability and able to work independently

▪ Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills

Job Profile

Minimum 2 years experience in F&B Production preferably in hotel or catering industry

out of which minimum 1 year in a kitchen supervisory role of DCDP or CDP For diploma holders

out of which minimum 2 years in a kitchen supervisory role of DCP or CDP For High School

▪ Practical knowledge and experience in food production operations

▪ Proactive, enthusiastic, strong sense of responsibility and positive thinking

▪ Able to work independently and under pressure

▪ Excellent command of spoken and written English

▪ Shift duty is required
