Head Engineering - District Cooling System

Head Engineering shall work closely with Head- District Cooling, to develop District Cooling System (DCS) pan India for Adani Group. Responsible for the technical development of all Greenfield/Brownfield DCS projects within the framework of investment mandate as delegated by the management

Educational Qualification:

BE / B. Tech, ME / M. Tech Mechanical / Electrical, PMP certification preferred

Experiences:

• Minimum 15 to 20 years of experience
• Work experience with leading organizations
• Strong background in Engineering development with good exposure on T&C and O&M aspects of the project, preferably in MEP/HVAC/Utilities/Real Estate sectors.

Design & Engineering:

• Perform heat load calculations for various applications, ensuring optimal energy efficiency.
• Should have experience in Energy modelling/bin load analysis based on location, application and selection of materials
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, HAP, TRACE 700 or similar design software.
• Experience in Developing conceptual designs and system architectures for district cooling solutions/chilled water systems
• Having experience in designing chilled water systems for multiple projects exceeding 5000 TR capacity each project
• Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, standards, and green building certifications like ASHRAE, ISHRAE, LEED, IGBC, and other relevant standards.
• Experience in selection of Chillers, Pumps, cooling towers to maximize system efficiency and reliability.
• Having experience in design and selection of Thermal Energy Storage system and Energy Transfer System is preferred.
• Stay updated on industry advancements and integrate innovative technologies into system design.
• Conduct technical discussions and presentations for clients and stakeholders for understanding their needs
• Guiding team in preparing Bill of Quantities (BOQ), cost estimates, technical submittals and drgs preparation
• Should have knowledge and experience in selection of Electrical equipments and items like Transformers, Panels, cables and breakers
• Experience in selection of controller, instrumentation, I/O points related building management system for complete HVAC System and building.

Project Execution & Coordination:

• Support the project execution team by resolving design-related challenges on-site.
• Review and approve technical submittals from vendors to ensure alignment with project requirements.
• Coordinate with consultants, presenting project details and obtaining necessary documentation.
• Assist in commissioning, testing, and performance validation of installed systems.
