DM / AM - Capex Finance Management & Control

Candidate will play a critical role in providing input for establishing financial discipline, financial performance audit & prudence for such procurement decisions and shall be entrusted with responsibility and accountability that will encompass Budgeting, Financial Planning, Controlling, Business Case Analytics, Financial Projections, Project Cashflows, Billing & Payout oversite, support for commercial negotiations and close out actions & reports etc.

Role & responsibilities

Capex Financial Management:

• Prepare budgeting, financial planning, and controlling for all capex projects
• Prepare financial analysis and projections.
• Prepare project cash flow statements and monitor billing, payouts, and financial compliance.

Procurement & Financial Prudence:

• Ensure financial discipline, prudence, and governance for all large-scale procurement decisions related to capex.
• Actively participate in all procurement decisions for projects above Rs. 10 crores alongside the Technical and Commercial (TC) team.
• For smaller projects, review and provide oversight in consultation with the BU CFO.

Project Oversight:

• Involved in performance audits for capex Projects to ensure efficiency and value creation.
• Involved in financial negotiations and commercial discussions to drive cost optimization.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Collaborate closely with the CFMC and CFO to align capex strategies
• Involved in discussion with Business Unit Heads and project teams to ensure capex objectives are met in line with financial KPIs.

• Expertise in procurement, cost control, and financial governance.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Ability to manage complex projects and provide leadership to cross-functional teams.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools
