Job Title:Deputy Manager : PACKING PLANT OPERATION & MAINTENANCE
Job Purpose/Mission:
This position is responsible for the execution of maintenance and operation activities of packing plant & auxiliaries to meet the departmental targets

Controlling timeliness, rate of production and other factors at each work station in order to deliver the daily output from packaging operation.
Meeting the daily cement dispatch targets.

Ensuring process compliance at each work station in order to fulfill quality parameters of packaging operation.

Customer complaints

Controlling bag burstage, demurrage, power, fuel, stores, spares and other inputs; fully utilizing manpower resources; in order to control the cost of packaging operations.
Achieving cost related KPIs.
Daily planning, scheduling & execution of planned, unplanned maintenance tasks, including running maintenance tasks.
Timeline adherence

Site supervision to ensure quality, timeliness and quantity of maintenance jobs performed.
MTBF

Daily arrangement and allocation of manpower & material resources

Timely completion of tasks
Cost of resources

Preparing monthly shift schedule for operations & maintenance staff

Full strength in all shifts.
Overtime hours
Supervising the work performance of operation & maintenance personnel at each work station through on-line checks, reporting & communication discipline and problem solving.
Performance of operation & maintenance personnel
Developing the skill / competencies of operation & maintenance personnel through on-the-job instruction & coaching.

Identifying and defining training needs of the personnel and communicating to department head.
Improved performance of personnel.
