Production Planning & Control - Lead

Purpose/Objective

Lead and execute the demand planning process for Make-to-order supply chain of Solar Manufacturing unit. Follow and ensure timely delivery for all orders. Coordinate for Timely Launch of new Products.

Key Responsibilities of Role

Desired Area of Expertise: * Responsible of entire Production Planning & Control, Supply Chain and day store • Incumbent shall be responsible for maintaining Raw Material & Finished Goods • Responsible for leading the PPC team • Stock level. Monthly WIP & Shop floor inventory analysis. • Proper disposal of Non-saleable / Expired BOM/consumable Inventory as per norms along with Supply chain & EHS teams. • Responsible for QMS in Compliance with ISO 9000:2008. • Knowledge of SAP • BOM Items management • Production Planning & Dispatch Scheduling. • Material management & Sales Order wise RM Scheduling. • Controlling Production Process. • ERP (SAP) – PP / QM / SD /MM Module. • Dispatch monitoring and follow up. • WIP & FG stock Monitoring. • External & Internal Audit Activities. • Analysis Report / Data Analytics & MIS. • BOM Optimization & Wastage Reduction & Cost Reduction. • SAP coordinator with cross functional team - Sales/Purchase/Production/Stores/Logistics

Technical Competencies

Knowledge of SAP/ERP,Inventory Management,Lean Manufacturing process,Business forecasting

Qualifications and Experience

Essential Qualification: BE / B. Tech ( Bachelor’s degree in engineering) Total Experience: 15-20 years
