Data Excellence Manager (Adani Group)

Role & responsibilities

• Establish and monitor data quality metrics. Identify and resolve data quality issues. Generate DIS reports and conduct in-depth analysis and report to Senior Management
• Ensure proper balance is maintained between current data quality standards and availability while new processes and technologies are being implemented
• Manage data issue tracking, while ensuring that issues are addressed
• Support data governance lead, ensuring all deadlines are met and reports are completed
• Act as an ambassador for data excellence across the enterprise
• Provide training and guidance to employees on data governance principles, policies, and procedures. Raise awareness of data management best practices and their importance to business operations. Foster a culture of improved data integrity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data management. Continuously improve data governance frameworks and processes. Evaluate and implement new data management tools and technologies, while ensuring they are effectively integrated.
• guidance on data usage and best practices. Support data analytics and reporting initiatives.
• Ensure the Data Governance documentation is always up to date; propose and implement enhancements where appropriate

Skills & Experience & Qualification:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field. A master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CDMP, CDGP) are highly desirable.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in data management, data governance, or a related field.
• Good understanding of Data Governance enabling technologies
• Deep understanding of data sources, formats, and structures. Proficiency in data manipulation and transformation.
• Strong domain understanding of the organization's business processes and objectives. Ability to align data management activities with business needs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex data issues.
• Dynamic can do attitude with a strong desire to improve and make things happen
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in driving organizational change and fostering a data-driven culture.
• Ability to work effectively and independently in a fast-paced agile environment with tight deadlines
• A flexible, pragmatic and collaborative team player with innate ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels in the organization.
• Strong project management skills and experience with facilitating workshops
