Proposal Engineer

• Experience: 48-year experience in field of process instrumentation preferably from Oil & Gas.
• Qualification: B.E Instrumentation
• CTC: 6 LPA
• Location: Mumbai

Prime Responsibilities/Role

Understanding the engineering requirements in line with scope of work and technical documentation.

Evaluate technical drawings, datasheets, system architecture, piping drawings etc.

Evaluate technical offers from local buyout suppliers & coordinate with vendors.

Float enquiries for buyout items like flow computer, PLC, valves & other piping components.

Prepare technical offers, budgetary offer.

Assist proposal team members for preparing techno-commercial offers.

Provide support for site erection team.

Job Experiences

Preferably handling flow metering system, Automation Systems & solutions.

Experience in process measuring instruments like, level, flow, temperature, pressure transmitters etc.

Experience to work with Oil & gas Customer.

Attributes

Prerequisites (Must have these attributes to be considered for the job)

At least 4 years experience in preparing techno-commercial offers, engineering & documentation related to instrumentation field.

Professional Experience

Prepare techno-commercial offers related to instrumentation offering.

Basix experience in selection of instruments for different

Added attributes

• Basic knowledge on selection, sizing & Commissioning of field devices like flow, level pressure, temp etc.
• Understand different industrial protocols, systems, technologies etc.
• Basic Knowledge on piping codes & standards
• Basic knowledge on piping material class & fittings.
• Should be able to read & understand P&ID, piping material specification, Valve material specifications.
• Basic knowledge on different types of manual valves, actuators, control valves etc.
• Basic knowledge on commercial terms & conditions related to instrumentation offerings.
