Safety Officer / Manager

We are hiring Safety Officer in Telecom Sector for Accord Synergy Limited in Gujarat.

Salary : 3.5 to 4.8 LPA.

Experience Required: 3 + years of experience in OHS management, preferably in the telecom industry.

Location: Vadodara / Ahmedabad

Immediate Joiners Preferred

Required Qualification & Experience:

1. Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.

2. Certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA 30/OSHA 50, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor, or First Aid/CPR preferred.

3. Strong knowledge of telecom-specific hazards, including working at heights, electrical risks, RF radiation, and confined spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Ensure compliance with local, state, and international safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, ISO 45001).

2. Develop and enforce OHS policies and procedures tailored to telecom operations.

3. Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and mitigate hazards.

4. Perform risk assessments for telecom sites, including towers, data centers, and offices.

5. Develop emergency response plans and conduct safety drills.

6. Implement and oversee fall protection, RF exposure, and electrical safety programs.

7. Organize safety training ( FARM Tocli / Rise-Q ) for Filed employees, Contractors, and Management.

8. Conduct toolbox talks and refresher training sessions on safety best practices.

9. PPE Management & Inventory

10. Ensure all employees are aware of hazard communication protocols.

11. Investigate workplace accidents, near misses, and safety violations.

12. Recommend corrective and preventive actions to minimize future risks.

13. Maintain records and reports of all safety incidents and regulatory compliance efforts.

14. Work closely with operations, HR, and legal teams to align safety initiatives.

15. Liaise with regulatory agencies, clients and Venors on OHS matters .

16. Prepare and present safety reports to senior management.

Work Environment:

1. Combination of office and fieldwork (telecom sites & Office Work)

2. Availability for emergency response situations.
