Telecom Riggers Coordinator

We are hiring Coordinator for riggers - Man Power Supply Coordinator in Vadodara, Specifically recruiting & handling riggers/ Technicians in Telecom Sector.

Location: Vadodara / Ahmedabad/ Hyderabad

Experience required: 2 to 5 Years in Telecom - Riggers / Man Power handling.

Salary: 35k to 40k CTC

Immediate Joiners Preferred.

Requirement: Experience in a supervisory or coordinator role in telecom

Summary:

The Telecom Riggers Manpower Coordinator is a critical role responsible for ensuring that the right number of qualified riggers are available, at the right time, and with the right equipment to complete telecom projects safely and efficiently. The coordinator must be highly organized, communicative, and knowledgeable about the technical and safety aspects of telecom rigging.

Core Responsibilities:

1. Coordinating with customers, ZTMs and Engineers to ensure alignment on fulfilling Riggers requirements.

2. Forecasting manpower needs based on project schedules, work orders, and anticipated workloads.

3. Developing and maintaining monthly manpower schedules, considering project deadlines, and resource availability.

Rigger Deployment and Management:

1. Assigning qualified riggers and supporting personnel to specific projects and tasks.

2. Ensuring employees are appropriate for the work, adhering to safety regulations and efficiency standards.

3. Monitoring riggers performance, Prepare monthly attendance and submit monthly WCC signoff.

4. Addressing and resolving any personnel-related issues that arise (e.g., absences, conflicts, performance concerns).

Recruitment and Training

1. Assisting with the recruitment of qualified riggers as per required criteria.

2. Verifying and maintaining rigger certifications, safety training records, and medical clearances.

3. Coordinating training programs to ensure riggers are up-to-date on the latest techniques, safety protocols, and equipment such as FARM TOCli / Rise Q trainings

4. Identifying training needs based on skill gaps, project requirements, or regulatory changes.

Logistics and Resource Management:

1. Coordinating the availability of necessary equipment (e.g., PPE Kits, Tools Kits etc etc) for each rigger.

2. Managing the inventory and maintenance of manpower-related resources.

3. Ensuring compliance with EHS policies

Reporting and Documentation:

1. Maintaining accurate records of rigger assignments, time sheets, attendance, and project progress.

2. Generating reports on manpower utilization, costs, and other key metrics.

3. Documenting any incidents or accidents that occur on work sites and assisting with investigations.

Safety and Compliance:

1. Promoting and enforcing a strong safety culture among riggers.

2. Ensuring all work is performed in compliance with relevant safety regulations and company safety policies.

3. Conducting regular safety audits and inspections.

4. Conduct safety training like FARM TOCLi/ RiseQ and enforce compliance with EHS, WAH (Work at Height), and telecom safety standards and certifications.

5. Ensuring riggers are equipped with proper PPE.

Communication and Coordination:

1. Serving as a central point of contact for riggers, their Field engineers and ZTMs.

2. Providing regular updates on Man Power availability and project progress.

Skills and Qualifications & Experience:

1. Prior experience as a O & M engineer / Coordinator or in a related field is often highly desirable.
2. A solid understanding of telecommunications infrastructure, riggers job roles and EHS process.
3. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
4. Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with riggers, FMEs & ZTMs
5. Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization.
6. Ability to identify riggers and onboard quickly..
7. Ability to motivate, supervise, and lead a team of riggers.
8. A strong commitment to safety and a thorough understanding of safety regulations.
9. While primarily an office/coordination role, some site visits may be required; so, physical stamina is often beneficial.
