Summary:As an Application Lead, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. You will oversee the application development process and ensure successful implementation.

    Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and technically skilled Mac Device Management Specialist to join our IT team. This role involves managing, configuring, and supporting Apple Mac devices throughout the organization, ensuring seamless device functionality, security compliance, and optimal user experience. The ideal candidate will have experience with Mac devices in an enterprise environment, a strong understanding of macOS management tools, and a passion for troubleshooting and system optimization.________________________________________Key Responsibilities:
  • Mac Device Management:oOversee the deployment, configuration, and management of macOS devices (e.g., MacBooks, iMacs, Mac Minis) within the organization.oImplement and maintain Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions (e.g., JAMF, Intune) for macOS device enrollment, configuration, and monitoring.oEnsure that macOS devices are consistently updated with the latest security patches and software updates.
  • System Configuration and Setup:oConfigure new Mac devices for employees, ensuring all necessary applications, network settings, security configurations, and company policies are in place.oSet up and manage device profiles, ensuring that each Mac adheres to company standards for security, functionality, and compliance.
  • Security and Compliance:oImplement and maintain security protocols, including encryption (FileVault), VPN configuration, firewall settings, and remote wipe capabilities.oEnforce organizational security policies for Mac devices to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR), and internal security frameworks.oPerform regular audits and monitoring of Mac devices to ensure they meet security and compliance standards.
  • Software Deployment and Updates:oUse MDM tools to deploy and manage software and application updates across Mac devices.oCollaborate with cross-functional teams to distribute software packages and system configurations across the fleet of macOS devices.oTest and roll out updates and patches for macOS, applications, and other essential software.
  • User Support and Troubleshooting:oProvide ongoing support for macOS users, assisting with device issues, software conflicts, and hardware problems.oTroubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues related to macOS, applications, and hardware.oRespond to service requests and incidents related to Mac devices, escalating complex issues when necessary.
  • Automation and Optimization:oDevelop and maintain automation scripts and workflows to streamline Mac device management tasks, including deployments and configurations.oAutomate software installations, system configurations, and routine maintenance tasks to improve operational efficiency.
  • Documentation and Reporting:oMaintain detailed records and documentation for all Mac device configurations, software installations, and security settings.oCreate user guides, FAQs, and internal knowledge base content to assist with troubleshooting and self-service support.oGenerate reports on device health, compliance status, and software deployment progress.
  • Collaboration and Coordination:oWork closely with other IT teams to ensure Mac devices are integrated into the broader IT infrastructure, including cross-platform compatibility with Windows, Linux, and other systems.oCollaborate with HR and other departments for the timely and accurate setup of Mac devices for new hires and role changes.________________________________________
    Qualifications:
  • Education and Experience:oBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.o6+ years of experience in managing or supporting macOS devices in an enterprise or business environment.oExperience with MDM tools (e.g., JAMF, Intune) is highly preferred.
  • Technical Skills:oStrong knowledge of macOS, including system administration, hardware management, and security features (e.g., FileVault, Gatekeeper, SIP).oProficiency with Apple Remote Desktop, Terminal, and other macOS administration tools.oExperience with scripting and automation (AppleScript, Bash, or other shell scripting languages).oFamiliarity with enterprise-level IT systems and integrations (VPN, Active Directory, etc.).
  • Security and Compliance Knowledge:oStrong understanding of macOS security features and best practices, including encryption, secure boot, and compliance management.oExperience with ensuring macOS devices adhere to regulatory compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS).
  • Soft Skills:oStrong problem-solving and analytical skills.oExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.oHighly organized with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.oCustomer-focused with a positive attitude toward supporting end-users.________________________________________Preferred
    Qualifications:
  • Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) or Apple Certified Mac Technician (ACMT).
  • Experience with cross-platform device management (macOS, Windows, Linux).
  • Familiarity with network protocols, VPN, and macOS networking.
