Job Description

• Financial Management: Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
• Variance Analysis: Create variance analysis reports and develop financial models.
• Performance Monitoring: Lead real-time monitoring of financial performance and escalate issues to management as needed.
• KPI Tracking: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and objectives.
• Market Research: Conduct market research and comparable company analysis to inform financial strategies.
• Strategic Recommendations: Propose strategies for enhancing financial performance based on analytical insights.
• Reporting: Prepare and present detailed monthly financial reports to management.
• Software Proficiency: Utilize popular financial planning and analysis software tools effectively.
• Team Management: Supervise junior financial planning analysts and collaborate with senior accounting and finance team members.

Job Responsibilities

• Financial Modeling: Develop budgets, projections, and forecasts.
• Variance Research: Identify variances against budgets and proactively seek improvement opportunities.
• KPI Monitoring: Closely monitor KPIs related to business performance.
• Investor Reporting: Prepare board decks, routine reporting, and address queries from stakeholders.
• Due Diligence: Experience in due diligence processes is preferred.
• Business Finance Analysis: Conduct deep dives into business metrics to track performance elements.
• Project Management: Manage various projects related to financial planning.

Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Background: Chartered Accountant (CA) is mandatory.
• Experience: 3-4 years in an FP&A role, preferably within the service industry or startups.

Skills Required:

• Strong leadership qualities and relationship-building skills.
• Quick learner with robust problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and presentation software.
• Experience with Tally is preferred but not mandatory.

Exclusions / Not Eligible

• Candidates without a CA qualification
• Not less than 3 years of FP&A experience
• Lacking Tally experience will not be considered for this position
