Senior Manager - Supply Chain Strategy & Operations

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Supply Chain Leader to lead our diagnostic business end-to-end supply chain strategy and operations PAN India. This role involves planning, implementing, and monitoring the entire supply chain process, including logistics, fleet management, inventory management, and other associated operational processes. The ideal candidate will ensure cost efficiency, streamline processes, and meet organizational objectives while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. The person will lead a large PAN India team. 

Role & responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership:
• Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies aligned with business goals.
• Identify and address potential risks within the supply chain to ensure business continuity.
2. Fulfilment Management:
• Design and maintain an agile supply chain model to handle fluctuating demands.
• Oversee the performance and operations of the India-wide ground team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Manage relationships with logistics partners to ensure cost-effective operations.
3. Process Optimization:
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.
• Collaborate closely with the Product and Technology teams to drive ongoing system improvements and new developments.
4. Team Leadership:
• Build and lead a high-performing supply chain team, PAN India.
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and professional development opportunities.
5. Compliance & Reporting:
• Ensure all supply chain activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and present regular reports on key supply chain metrics to leadership.
6. Inventory & Warehouse Management:
• Oversee inventory planning and control to balance supply and demand.
• Implement efficient warehouse and inventory management systems.

Preferred candidate profile

• B.Tech and MBA from a reputed Tier 1 college.
• 7-15 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, with at least 3-4 years in a leadership role managing large teams.
• Proven track record in developing and executing supply chain/logistics strategies.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain, logistics, inventory management, and other operations principles.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
