Interview preparation tips for other job seekers - For intake of Engineers, the first Round is written Exam with GATE Score as the criteria/sometimes GATE Scores were not considered too depending on the management decision and can be checked on the company website or publications on leading newspaper and online portals.
The written exam has two basic section 1. Aptitude Test 2. Technical Round and all are MCQ-s, usually this process is outsourced to Third Parties for the initial Screening.
Once a candidate clears the first round, he gets notification for the physical interview, where Group Discussion, Technical and HR Rounds will be done.
For group discussion good elocution capacity will help anyone win over, for Technical Round, specific question related to Utility level Power Plants may come and some preparation is needed for that apart from the preparedness on basic engineering.
HR Round here is not that much critical as once the candidate clears the Technical Round, the HR Department only do the formalities and inform the candidate about the basic offerings etc.
