An aptitude test is a type of psychometric test used to assess cognitive skills and other specific abilities and behavioural traits. Job aptitude tests are very common, and almost any employer uses them to screen candidates. The most popular ones are verbal, spatial, cognitive, personality and numerical tests.
Group Discussion or GD is a type of discussion that involves people sharing ideas or activities. People in the group discussion are connected with one basic idea. Based on that idea, everyone in the group represents his/her perspective.
GD is a discussion that tests the candidate's skills, such as leadership skills, communication skills, social skills and behavior, politeness, teamwork, listening ability, General awareness, confidence, problem-solving skills, etc.

"Be very careful how you answer questions in a job interview. You always want to be truthful, but it's best to practice your answers, as most websites suggest. I failed to do this prior to my first interview, and when I was asked what job I'd done that I was most proud of, I actually answered, 'Being a mother.' While this is true, it was definitely not the best answer I could have given and certainly not the one the interviewer was looking for. Do your homework on the companies you plan to interview with, and anticipate the kinds of questions they might ask. Come up with answers that will be both honest and impressive." --
