Interview preparation tips for other job seekers - Never get discouraged or give up hope. I had resigned my job in Saudi Arabia, a plum post with a huge salary due to Covid, after completing nearly ten years in a University English department there to be with family and come back to India. After the first three months of waiting to get my PF from my Saudi University which arrived in due course I got a visiting Faculty or Professor post in Jain Faculty of Engineering and Technology teaching Communicative English, through Naukri, being paid on an hourly basis. That went on for two semesters. Meanwhile I kept on sending my CV wherever I could but though I attended three interviews in international schools I got no reply. Then my CV in Carmel College Bangalore, which is an autonomous one, was picked up and I was called for the interview. The selection process was fair as they evaluated me on the basis of my interview and demo class, years of experience and academic degrees, as far as I can make out and there was no manipulation or corruption. My advice to job seekers is keep applying, taking interviews, trust in God and don't stop. Never give in. One should not only keep trying, until one succeeds but also be humble enough to take up what comes first in today's scenario, if one has a family, as I do and as I have no pension so cannot afford to retire, and then climb again when one gets the chance.
