Interview Preparation Tips

Round: Group Discussion
Experience: Knowing most of the people in my group discussion made it a little easier for me. The group digressed from the topic a few times but there was no ruckus after-all.
Tips: Note the points on a paper that you want to say during the GD.
Maintain eye contact with everyone.
When the coordinator asks you to summarize the GD, never start with "I think". Just summaries it. No value additions at this stage.
Dont speak for the sake of it. Dont be loud. Let your points be loud.
And finally, using statements like," let the gentle man complete his point", "please maintain the decorum", do work. ;)
Duration: 10 minutes

Round: HR Interview
Experience: The interviewers are really experienced and they will somehow always know when you are lying. In my case specifically, it was a very general interview and it was more focused on the fact if i will be able to sustain the work pressure.
Tips: Be honest.
SMILE.
If you dont know something, be honest about it and tell them you will learn it at the first moment possible.
Know about the company as much as possible.
Rest is really cool.

General Tips: Dress properly.
Shave. {And if a female, then look good. (I know that you already take care of that)}
Always carry a pen.
If asked for some concept, and if it can be explained on paper, DO THAT, it shows your concepts are clear.
Dont fumble or guess. If you dont know it, just say it.
Skill Tips: Practice talking to your peer regularly. Improvise upon your confidence. Make sure that the company needs you more than you need the company.
Skills: Communication , Presentation skills
College Name: KJ SOMAIYA INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT STUDIES AND RESEARCH
Motivation: Real estate. I like this sector.
Fortune 500 company and world leader in its sector.
Funny Moments: During the technical interview, the interviewer asked me to tell him any 5 core finance questions. My own choice. And later, he asked me only to answer them.
So basically, i took my own technical interview.
