Interview Preparation Tips

Round: Test
Experience: The Written Test consist of three sections namely Technical , Analytical and Drawing in the technical section , the questions were from basics and fundamentals of almost all the subjects of Engg and there were one or two questions from basic mathematics . The analytical section consists of three questions one is on basic mathematics , one is on time and one is a train problem . The third section was drawing in which two problems were given , in the first problem we were given the front and sides view, we were to draw top view , in the second problem , the top and side views were given and we were to draw front view .

Duration: 45 minutes

Round: Group Discussion
Experience: The process was quite similar to all the GDs . Initially the observer gave us the topic and the time and we were asked to discuss about the topic . In this process the main aim is to assess the knowledge of the candidate over the current affairs and the ability to deliver his feelings to the others in quiter manner . When it comes to my contribution , I took my chance and discussed about the necessity of the deal , benefits of the deal etc .

Round: Technical Interview
Experience: In the Technical Interview initially i was asked questions liked the college where i did my btech , my native place etc . Then the actual interview started with the questions like the subjects of interest and most of the questions are fundamental from all the subjects . I was asked questions in the stream of hydraulics , heat transfer , fundamentals of thermodynamics etc . It lasted for around 25 minutes .

Round: HR Interview
Experience: In the HR interview , I was asked to tell my academic profile , my hobbies and i was asked about various competetors in field of automobiles in and around the country , knowledge of the country etc

General Tips: Knowledge over the fundamentals of all the subjects is essential . Knowledge over Current Affairs , Ability to convey our feelings neatly and comfortably etc

Experience: The question paper consists of three parts 1. Technical paper of mechanical background about 40 questions were asked. 2. Quantitative questions were asked there were only three in number. 3. Third part consists of a part diagram and there only two questions were given and we have to answer the missing view of the figures.
