Round: Test
Experience: The tests are held using the platform of Cocubes. First section has HR questions such as "why Axtria?" and other stuff. I don't think its really necessary and I presume that nobody looks at it. The sections 2, 3 and 4 are fairly easy. But since the test is easy, you should also keep this in mind that the cutoff might be high. The coding section had basic question of C, C++ and Java. Don't worry even if you don't know java. All in all, the questions are very "do-able" and one should easily crack them.
Tips: I'd advice aspirants to go through the concepts of OOPs; just a brief glance at it, not necessarily mastering it. There's no negative marking, so try attempting all the questions. Also the test is of 2 hours with 60 minutes for sections 2, 3 and 4.

Round: Group Discussion
Experience: The GD round is quite simple. A group is formed of 8-10 people. Everyone gets a chance to speak, unless it's your bad day with a cartoon character in the same group with you.
One person didn't really want, but was forced to appear for the selection process. So from the very beginning, he was trying for a "suicide". So there was a bit of negation in arguments which might have killed us all. But the interviewers really want everyone to put up their points and gave equal opportunities.
Before proceeding with your points, each of us had to introduce ourselves and then put up our points. There was a lot of desperation in my GD, so there were moments when people were actually arguing. So one really had to grab their chance when speaking.
The other groups had topics like, "Social media in daily life", "Pros and cons of using Cloud", etc. Their GD was very methodical, everyone speaking turn by turn and in the end anyone was asked to conclude the session.
In the end, about 2 people are eliminated, so in order to fail, you really have to suck at public speaking. Otherwise, take it for granted that you're going through for the next round.
Tips: I'd suggest people to have a go at number 3 or 4, once you've gauged the nature of the discussion. Try to put up all your points very briefly, giving an example or two. Don't negate other people's arguments and agree with people who's thoughts are in line with yours. Even if you want to negate others, do it very subtly. Try to be involved as much as possible. Be the best listener, moderate the GD when you're not active and when you're speaking, be very confident.
Duration: 10-12 minutes

Round: Guesstimate Interview
Experience: Since I did not have any background in analytics, the interviewer had to ask me other questions. At first she asked me about statistics, which I was not really confident about. At this point, I was almost certain to crash out. But luckily, the next question she asked me was the above guesstimate. This being one of my stronger skills, was quite OK for me, and I handled this question well enough. The interviewer was quite impressed with my approach and was smiling as if advertising for Colgate, at the end of the interview. This instilled some confidence in me, that I was going through, at least for this round. But this was, as one would say, lady luck, saving me. Other candidates, who had a background in analytics, were asked only about their previous internships (not too technical).
Tips: If you have a background in analytics, then just go through all your projects. If you do not have any such skills, then brush up your guesstimates. Other person who was like me, was asked to estimate the time after which a boiler needed maintenance (he was from Mechanical). Another guy was asked how would one determine that a person is fraud or not; if he withdrew about 10K in first three months and then 50K in the 4th month, from his credit card. So case-study and guesstimates are a must if you don't have analytics on your CV.

Round: HR Interview
Experience: There was a panel of 3 interviewers. Other candidates (analytics guys) were simply asked to convince them that they would work for the company for the foresee-able future. I, on the other hand, was asked to convince them, why I am the guy for Axtria. I had to defend myself, for having internships in different backgrounds and how would I be suitable for analytics. Then they asked me that since I had worked in an logistics company, why did not I go for my own start-up. Again I said a few things, which was basically running around, why do I want to work for Axtria. Luckily, I managed to convince them in the end. But still I did not have that good a feeling about this round. When asked about higher studies, I told them that I had plans but not in the near future.
Tips: This one was pretty dependent on how you'd defend your CV. But otherwise, it should be a very simple experience for analytics guys. Axtria goes for elimination rather than selection in its process. So unless you really suck at giving interviews, you can give yourself a fair chance of getting selected. Also, since they have a 3 month long training period, it is not really necessary that you have analytics on you CV. But for a guy like me, you have to be very convincing about yourself and make them believe that Axtria and you are a match made in heaven.

General Tips: If you're confident with conversing in English and are convincing enough, it shouldn't be really difficult. Also, the conversion rate is about 0.5 i.e. half of the shortlisted people are going to get selected. So there's no need to be nervous.

Round: Resume Shortlist
Experience: If your have CGPA >7 and AIEEE rank is good then you will be shortlisted .

Round: Test
Experience: Test was similar to CAT there were 3 sections qunat, logical reasoning and verbal ...question were easy ...test was hosted at cocubes .
Tips: Don't try to open other tab during test because that will be recorded.

Round: HR Interview
Experience: Interviewer was very straight forward, he ask many question and puzzles. One puzzle he asked was ... You have 2 rats and 4 glass. ..in each glass you have some liquid which is taste less, smell less cl,colorless ...but one glass contains poision... We are allowed to use rats only once and at the same time ...identity the poisened glass.
He also asked candel and bridge puzzle and sone question about me like why do you want to join our conpany, tell m le something about yourself etc

Round: Technical Interview
Experience: Interviewer asked 3 questions
1) you have 3 glasses each contain 1 balls of different color .. You have to identify which galss has which color ball .
I answered several time and he make changes every time. ..
1 coding question and 1sql query. I answered all the questions correctly

Experience: I consulted my seniors for preparation of my resume. I believe that seniors provide the best provide you with the best possible insights in this regards.

Round: Test
Experience: The first round was the written test. The duration of the test was half an hour. The test consisted of questions on data interpretation, logical reasoning and analytics. The questions were pretty easy. The company shortlisted a lot of candidates for the Group Discussion (GD).

Round: HR Interview
Experience: The interview was, as I would call it, an HR and a puzzle based interview. Some questions from probability were also asked. The puzzles asked were tricky but easy at the same time. I cannot recall any of the puzzles that were asked.
Tips: Before appearing for the interview, I would suggest you to solve puzzles from a book named ‘Out of the Box’; the book contains some really good puzzles.

Experience: The written test had various sections. After the written test which was held online, few students were shortlisted for the interview process. There were a total of three rounds of interviews.

Round: HR Interview
Experience: The questions asked from all the candidates in all the rounds were quite similar in nature. They were asking puzzles, numerical reasoning based questions and things which would require use of your analytical skills. The questions weren’t difficult and one can easily find them on placement preparation sites. They also tested me on my knowledge of core engineering subjects to ascertain whether I am serious about the tasks I have in hand.

They also asked few normal HR questions. Some of them were about my short term and long term goals and where do I see myself after three years. They also asked me the reason for shift to a non-core field company.

Motivation: I had appeared for the placement process for Mu Sigma as arranged by the placement committee of my college. There was no resume based selection and neither there was any group activity. The major criterion for being able to appear for the written test was the CGPA.

Round: Test
Experience: Half an hour test which had 5 C questions, 10 math and 10 on simple English.
Duration: 30 minutes

Round: Puzzle Interview
Experience: Preliminary Round: One Puzzle and a question on probability, I Couldn't answer that puzzle so I started talking about my internship in a great detail and this helped me to get to the next round.

General Tips: It will be of great help if you can solve simple mathematics problems with speed - CAT type.
Skill Tips: Make Sure you do all the common puzzles before you go to interview, E.g 100 gold coin/pirate one which keep repeating.

Tips: Never summarize the video.

Round: HR Interview
Experience: Being Confident is the main plus point for me.
The Interviewer was a cool minded and also good at manipulating our answers to form the next question.
Tips: Be Confident throughout the interview and show them you are meant to be at this job.
And make sure you don't cook up any fake story , you may get caught somewhere in the interview.
And never feel tensed, just give it your best shot.

General Tips: Just show the interviewer how confident you are and what you are capable of.
Skills: Confidence with which you can work, Readiness to work hard

Motivation: A best company that can be found in today's Indian Economy for Business Analysts and their principle of learning over knowing is the best.
Funny Moments: The HR team is really friendly and they shared a lot of funny moments, one among them is the chat we had on monkeys and people as monkeys.

Round: Resume Shortlist
Experience: I used only one resume for all the companies that I applied in. I mentioned about my extra-curricular activities and my projects with the projects relevant to the profile on offer getting higher priority.

Round: Test
Experience: For the aptitude questions the preparations for the CAT examination that I had done earlier in the year proved to be availing. Whereas for the technical questions I studied topics like fluid machinery and IC engines.

The first round in Mu Sigma was the aptitude test. The test pattern was CAT based, but the difficulty level was pretty mediocre compared to CAT papers.
Tips: There was time constraint in the test. Therefore I would recommend you to practise some questions before appearing for the test to improve your speed.

Round: HR Interview
Experience: The interview began by the interviewer asking me some HR questions. The last question I responded saying that Mu Sigma is company catering to the needs of solution seeking companies. To this the interview asked me come up with a problem that I felt the company would have to deal with and also an efficient solution to the same. I designed a problem which was related to the loss in sales of Refrigerator and I solved it using the 4P concept. Then they asked me a puzzle which was that in a room of height 100m to ropes are hanging one of 120m and another of 60m and your height is 10m then what is the maximum length of rope that you can cut.

Motivation: Mu Sigma is a company that deals with data so I went through their site and found what it does. Later the other queries related to the company were cleared by attending the pre placement talk.
