Interview Preparation Tips

Interview preparation tips for other job seekers - I wouldnt recommend this company to anyone. Starting off they have a 4 year bond policy for 10 lakhs, that is, if you leave the company within 4 years you are liable to pay them 10 lakhs. They had only two rounds of interviews - aptitude and GD. There was NO HR round present.

A company usually keeps a bond policy because they have a problem with employees leaving early and a bond policy aims to discourage that. Its a trap for employees. Usually for companies the bond is for a year or two but this 4 year period was absolutely ridiculous. Also the starting salary is 3 LPA which is extremely low, and gets incremented to 5, 7, 10 after each subsequent year and is non negotiable. They ofcourse have a problem with a unhappy employees and just a conversation with HR was enough to understand why. After the group discussion round I received the offer letter in my mail but I wanted to know if the bond policy and salary was negotiable before accepting it. Since there was no HR round or any round with the manager, I enquired through a mail but got no response. I was given 3 days to accept the offer and I couldnt accept it without a response to my mail because I know that a 4 year bond is suicide. On the last day the then HR executive calls me up and starts berating right from the beginning on why I hadnt accepted the offer. I told him that I first wanted to have a conversation with the HR regarding the bond policy and package to which he responds even more furiously that all this was informed to me in the beginning (mind you, this was informed to all the candidates who applied for the position in a meet where we could not even unmute ourselves and ask a question). After all this I again expressed my concern regarding the company policy to which he rudely responded saying that its not up for discussion. I told him that in that case I wouldnt want to join the company and to this day I havent regretted that decision and infact feel happy for rejecting the offer. To think of it, if this was how a candidate was being treated before joining the company, I couldnt imagine how he/she would be treated after joining.

I applied via Approached by Company and was interviewed in Nov 2022. There were 4 interview rounds.
