Experience: Aptitude round - Verbal and logical ability ( 40 questions, 45 minutes)
Technical round - Data Structures and algorithms (2 questions, 75 minutes)
Tips: Be strong with your vocabulary for verbal section
Logical section has questions on basic mathematics
coding questions were on DS and Algos and we were allowed to code in C / C++ / C# / Java
Duration: 2 hours
Total Questions: 42

Round: Technical Interview
Experience: Questions were on DS and algos
I've done a couple of projects on cloud and back-end technology and i briefed her about the projects
My interests were on Artificial intelligence and i explained her how i would align my interests with cloud technology
Tips: Have a good understanding of DS and algos
Make sure you explain your projects very briefly and don't drag the answer for more than a couple of minutes
have an honest explanation on why you chose this profile
Stay confident and do not contradict your answers in any way

Round: HR Interview
Experience: I had a short story for describing myself and the way i put it was appreciated by the HR
I have done an analytics intern previously and i was able to brief him about the work and the results that came out of it
Cricket was my major interest and luckily he plays cricket too and we had a lively conversation on that topic
We had an informal conversation about our common interests and the HR was very impressed with the interview and expressed his to desire to hire me
Tips: The HR interview was very smooth and pleasant. He made sure i was comfortable and was very straight forward in his questions
Stay confident and express yourself honestly. Cracking HR rounds is all about being yourself and showing your desire to work for their company

  • Q1. I was asked about the assumptions and the curvature of a typical indifference curve for a normal good. Add Answer

Interview Preparation Tips

Round: Group Discussion
Experience: We were all first given individual turns to keep our own opinion on the topic. Then there were last few minutes of open discussion where we all discussed and debated on the topic.
Duration: 20 minutes

Round: Technical + HR Interview
Experience: They asked me about basic econometrics questions and some questions on microeconomics. They also asked me why I would like to be a part of Genpact.
Tips: Be calm and confident in whatever you say. If you are not sure about any answer, don't go roundabout, be straightforward and precise. Take your time. Try not to be superfluous.
