Interview preparation tips for other job seekers - The owner of this company is kind and reputable. The only problem is the recruitment team of his company. They are very good at ghosting. In the initial contact, they seem to be nice and they even put on the job ads that it's family-like working with them which is very enticing for the candidate. I passed the initial interview and was asked me to take the IELTS exam. Then after I took the IELTS test, they have gone with the wind without giving any feedback on whether I passed or failed. Though I know my grade is a passing score base on the set of grades they provided. They will not bother to contact you to give feedback so you know what to expect. I guess if your score is not appealing to them they will dump your record straight into the bin. I even reached out to them that I'm having errors taking the second test due to their code is not recognized by the app but I heard nothing from HR and boom after a few days they will send you an email that you are not selected. I can understand if they told me that I'm not a good fit for the role however I don't hear anything about what went wrong. I just hope the company will address this issue as they will miss good candidates because of this wrong system by their recruitment team. A candidate will never forget a good experience she had whether hired or not and the sincerity of the team will be appreciated if they will point out what are the things the candidate needs to improve that she can bring to her next endeavor.
I admire this company as the owner is a very kind-hearted man and even has a charity to give back his blessing to the community. I'm just being transparent about my experience in applying to this company. My first attempt was last year 2021 which they did the same after the exam nothing was heard from them. On the second attempt this year 2022 the same thing happened. It's so sad that they have a high standard that even candidate is very eager and determined to fill the role you will just leave frustrated. So I just let it go and maybe that is not meant for me. After a few days, I received a job offer from another company and I'm so pleased with how they value my skills and so excited to start to my new journey. :-)
