Need suggestions on a few fronts as this is my first big switch. 1. I've a current offer in hand which is offering me 40% hike. I want a bit higher percentage. My current company hasn't started negotiations yet but I'm positive that they'd do it. Putting this aside, can I tell my new employer that my company has matched the new offer, so I want a better offer from them? If yes, how to go about it professionally? 2. I might crack another offer from another org within a week (which should be better than the one I have). Meanwhile, I'll have to accept my current offer letter within 2-3 days.
