Stochastic gradient descent, batch gradient descent, and gradient descent differ in the amount of data used to update the model weights.
Gradient descent updates the model weights using the entire dataset in each iteration.
Batch gradient descent updates the model weights using a subset of the dataset (batch) in each iteration.
Stochastic gradient descent updates the model weights using only one data point at a time in ea...
LLMs are large neural network models used for natural language processing tasks.
Parameters include model size, number of layers, attention mechanisms, and training data size.
Use cases include text generation, translation, summarization, and sentiment analysis.
Examples of LLMs are GPT-3, BERT, and XLNet.
The coding round lasted 90 minutes and included two questions: 1. Rotate a matrix by 90 degrees; 2. Multiply two integers without converting them from the string format to integers.
I applied via Referral and was interviewed before Mar 2023. There was 1 interview round.
CONTACT Automatic General is used for automatic generalization of contacts in CAD software.
Automatically generalizes contacts between different components in CAD designs
Helps in ensuring proper fit and alignment of components
Reduces manual effort in adjusting contacts between components
Improves overall design efficiency and accuracy
Material models in LS Dyna are used to simulate the behavior of different materials under various loading conditions.
Material models define how a material responds to stress, strain, temperature, and other factors.
Examples of material models in LS Dyna include MAT_024 (linear elastic), MAT_024 (plasticity), MAT_024 (viscoelastic), MAT_024 (hyperelastic), etc.
Some other contact models available in Dyna are penalty-based contact, kinematic contact, and contact stabilization.
Penalty-based contact model is used for simulating contact between deformable bodies.
Kinematic contact model is used for modeling contact between rigid bodies.
Contact stabilization is used for improving the stability of contact simulations.
I applied via Campus Placement and was interviewed before Sep 2021. There were 4 interview rounds.
It will be conducted through Hiring platform
Shortisted candidates could get a mail and this round will be conducted through Hiring platform . There will be 2 coding questions and you need to solve them and all the test cases should get passed to get selected for the next round

There were 5 people in the zoom meet, including me. Rest all 4 were interviewers, 3 from India and 1 from the United Kingdom.
They started with my introduction and then moved on to the questions from my resume, starting with my internship at Samsung Bangalore and then projects.
Then another interviewer asked about my weakness and strength. Then comes the turn of coding questions.
Starting with finding the minimum element in O(1) time, rotating the 2-D array by 90 degrees, OOPS questions were also asked like- polymorphism, abstraction, virtual class. Some OS questions were- cache, paging algorithms.
Then come my POR and other activities.

Page replacement algorithms are used in operating systems to decide which page to replace when a new page needs to be brought in.
FIFO (First In, First Out) - replaces the oldest page in memory
LRU (Least Recently Used) - replaces the page that has not been used for the longest time
LFU (Least Frequently Used) - replaces the page that has been used the least number of times
Optimal - replaces the page that will not be used
Tip 1 : Practice GFG Must Do section, solve at least 5 Questions daily
Tip 2 : Start talking to new people regarding technology to remove hesitation at the time of the interview.
Tip 3 : Be in contact with a senior already working in that company, ask them regarding previous experience and new project the company is working on.
Tip 4 : Once you are done with GFG must do questions, now complete leetcode sorting by your target company.
