Being from the south whether i will be able to manage in the north. As I am a girl will I be able to handle the situations etc.I think because of my CGPA and also my internships which were automobile related helped.
My preparation was not good I just revised my class notes and prepared on my internships and projects.
Tips: Revised my core fundaes. Prepared about my internships and projects. For HR i think you just have to be spontaneous and convince them that you are the one for the job.

General Tips: For core companies revise basic topics like IC engines and design of machine elements and also my favorite topics like heat transfer. I think having practical rather than bookish knowledge helps. Mostly
I used my class notes.
Be thorough with your resume and also the important core courses. Having mock GDs and interviews will help a lot.
