1 No career growth - They might hire managers who don't know anything about the FMCG industry just because he is having more years of experience. You will not get promotion if you have more knowledge and skills.
2 Not the right platform to express our ideas and views - I had worst experience many times. I had given many suggestions but everytime whenever I'm giving those ideas my manager used to scold me and used to tell these things cannot be applied here management will not allow this. But 2 times my ideas are implemented in pan India level to all territories/warehouses/markets and many many times on states level and credits goes to ASM&TSM. It's just because of ego.
I was the youngest city manager in the team of 27 years rest all are 32+ and managers are ASM&TSM is above 40.
They were not ready to say my name because of professional jealous.
3 - Work life
My role is city manger who is managing procurement , sales and distribution
But situations made me to be a delivery boy just bcz of the shortage of manpower and to ensure on time delivery.
4 - Targets & achievement
This is the first company which I have ever worked who is giving a huge target without sufficient stocks
They will give 75 lakh target but they will give a stock of 50 lakh and whatever the stock they're procuring it will be more than the market rate.
5 Selling at lesser than the market rate
Work at own home location
Good package
Salary will get credited on 30/31st
