Interview preparation tips for other job seekers - Well guys, there are two options available to be CMIOSH, one is open assessment and second is Skill Development Portfolio (SDP).I was selected for the SDP, Here 5 assignments were made on given topics.
In 50-60 minutes interview, first 10 minutes have to spend on the last two years career achievements against what the protestation sent in advance to IOSH. You have to defend that presentation for ten minutes in front of interview board comprising 3 professionals.
Please make rehearsal gain and again to remain in ten minutes. Improper utilization of ten minutes may lead to discontinuation of interview.
Next ten minutes will be served on the assignments prepared for SDP. You have to defend and prove that the assignments were made by you only. The interview board members keep the assignments in front of them and they raise the questions from the assignment.
If these ten minutes are successful then interview proceeds further otherwise discontinued.
In remaining time of 20-30 minutes, the interview board asks the questions regarding the safety knowledge like risk assessment, risk controls, fire and controls, and fire risk assessment, incident investigation and why policy is reviewed an defined . All these question have to be complimented with practical examples of related occupational settings.
in the end, IOSH code of ethics ( Integrity, Competence , Respect and Service) is asked with the practical examples in your career.
