Wipro as a company is a wholesome package: you can expect every good thing a company can provide: clear growth paths and promotions based purely on merit, regular assessments of skills, employee-friendly policies (compared to any other similar tier company), on-time hikes without any delay, above par long-term onsite compensations, immense learning opportunities and meaningful rotations.

Dislikes

Company culture is fair but is not sufficiently steered toward high performance and excellence. Productivity is tracked in traditional ways however outcome-based productivity is not yet well understood and hence not measured effectively. Standardization of roles is yet to be done across horizontals for which multifaceted leaders who understand all aspects of IT are needed. The support provided to employees by adjunct functions is below standard; employees from other similar-tier companies who join as laterals immediately sense this slack in support within weeks of joining.

The ambience, environment, culture, hierarchy and opportunities are excellent. Management is fairly good. Well organised systems to track your own career and work.

Dislikes

...ee monetary benefits despite making good profits, maybe needs to be relooked at. Not much compensation provided to employees who spend on utility bills to ensure business continuity

Ample opportunities, undersranding but some times troubling colleafues, challenging projects. I got opportunity to work for different projects and learn lot. One of the best org to cross/upskill employees

...otational policy. I served Wipro for 15 years to get onsite but can't got it. 4. Old and seniors are ignored as my last package was 13.84 L but good for new joining as they offer much for higher package to them. 4. Intresting fact Strict COBC policy but this is only for resources like me. This is not applicable for Wipro itself.

Growth and Salary hike, average compared to the competition. Sometimes you get stuck in projects and not much opportunities provided to move out even after the tenure..
