There is job security, on time salary, good optional medical insurance for self and dependents. Lot of clients are there and process oriented company.

Dislikes

The compensation for external hires is really good and long time employees are not compensated at par with them. The difference is so wide that it affects the morale of the members working in the team. Onsite opportunities are now less than what it was earlier.

Likes

My life in Wipro has been good. It is a great company to start your career with. A lot of opportunities to learn. You generally do not lose your job unless you do something naughty. The management if mostly positive. The company culture of inclusiveness is another major positive.

Dislikes

The salary though is on the lower side. The management has some South Indian bias as you move up the ladder. They tend to prefer some incompetent SI guy/gal over a competent person. The HR here is like Gandhiji`s 3 monkeys.

Company has a very bad work culture. Poor Management, Less salary, No hikes. They are biased towards toxic people. No growth. Overall if I had less than one star I would have given that.

No work life balance, Salary is low and internal lateral movement without our confirmation and no hike, role is shifted completely what was discussed during joining, Shift timing (Night shift) change what discussed during interview (Day shift) without night shift allowance, during joining said both side transport now after movement only one side transport, role not exactly defined.

Dislikes

...hike and if you will ask they will put you on bench saying project budget issue. Only 45 days paid bench period and then complete loss of pay.
