Sorry to state, but I like nothing about the company. It was my mistake joining such a badly managed organization with no work ethics and no professionalism. Bosses liked only yes man and boot locking, who in turn were doing the same.

Very unprofessional, no employee welfare... Human resources were considered as domestic aids rather that assets

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
