Toxic culture and leadership is not supportive

Dislikes

Variable pay never given to employees saying you are already on high comp ratio so given to others in the team. Lost huge Bonus due to this every year. No Stock option for below director level.

Work culture is very poor in case of growth opportunities. Else, if anyone want just to do a regular job and get a salary without any growth expectations then it’s good for them. Higher management lobbying is very strong, if you want to go against any leader then nobody would support you at the ground level. Verbally everyone will be in your support. Even Human Capital people would not support you. Actually, UHG is process oriented organisation only on papers but, the reality is policies and guidelines are just the tools of higher management to use it against out of lobby people and executives. If you use the same policies and guidelines to prove your point then no one is going to listen to you, not even Human Capital. Growth opportunities are almost NIL for non-lobbying people so, still if you want to join UHG then ask for a higher package because after that there’ll be no growth. There are no policies of revival for employees who have joined UHG with low package.

Lobbying system and there is no policy for employee’s revival in case they’ve joined UHG with lower packages. Nothing is free food, transport, etc. everything is chargeable to employees.

...ence at united Health group was "GOOD". I have joined this company as a fresher. Company provides a decent pay for the freshers and I have no idea about the pay details for experienced candidates... Firstly, the Interview process has 3 rounds (Personal Interview) (Written Test) (Manager Round) Secondly, the Training period depends upon the type of process you are in and Company provides a trainer who has good knowledge about the subject and the policies of the company. Coming to the Career growth, Company provides good opportunities for the candidates in the form of IJP's. It's just like play smart and win.. of course there is scope for" POLITICS". Coming to the appraisal, its based on your monthly performance.... Company gives preference for the employees who are productive and efficient... the Annual Hikes are satisfactory for the people who performs consistently well.. Company will give you more, than what you expect.... Company will provide you free cab facility which includes both pick and drop... UHG has a good transport team in performing their duties efficiently without any confusion. UHG also provides us learning courses like business etiquette, business writing skills etc..where people can enroll and attend the courses. It provides a very good working environment where you get an opportunity to work with many talented people. Work - life balance is purely personal opinion as some people are comfortable in day and some are in night shifts.. so, Overall its a good experience and fun working at UHG..
