The Tata brand, the culture, the policies and the integrity is commendable. The way it's structured, the work life balance. Mostly it is the tata culture and the tata brand and reputation that is holding many people together.

Dislikes

The salary, the compensations, the appraisals, the HR connect is too bad. Never ever in my 10 years of experience have I had a good HR connect. You do not feel belonged and like no one is listening to you. Even the HRs and RMGs only listen to the managers and account heads. No honest employee connections. NO retention thoughts, no perks and no increments.

...only 25% of workforce will work from office by 2025 now has changed their words. Woth no work life balance, and minimum salary bands, I feel it's an organization forcing their employees to scramble with stupid policies. Being such a big organization, it should lead the Digital work Real life. But again, it is promoting and forcing employees to WFO inefficiently. It is an organization which don't give increments and promotions even if you are getting 5/5 points in reviews. In name of promotion, you will get more work and responsibilities without any increase in salary. In one word, the suffocation is increasing day by day in TCS. Also, Somebody, once joined TCS at early stage feels incompetent to the job market.

Except job security there is nothing which can help you to grow your career neither skill nor salary or opportunities. If you want to develop your skills or willing to get benifits you need to be always good with manager even he is not a nice with you. Here people's get good hike and appraisals when they have good contact with manager, if not forget benifits from company even you working hard.

...od only for the people who dont want to grow and learn just like govt employees. But with a twist that your salary will not be incremented OR just 1% for media sake.

Never join this company before and age of 50. No learning, no appraisal, no growth, no team bonding.

Well the fact that every month the salary gets credited and maybe job security that's it

No employee perks or benefits. Powai branch has bad food services in there cafeteria and after multiple complaints no stringent actions are taken for improvement. No Diwali gifts not even sweets. There are many things to dislike thats the reason I am planning to leave now. What will I do of job security if I am not happy with my work.
