The salary growth rate is really really slow. Also, the work culture is now no more a generic one to TCS, it is all influenced by the kind of leadership in the project you are working.

Delay in promotion cycle. Dress code still same old formals. Recent compensation was terrible as an overall. Not even a free tea is served in Chennai offices. In pf employer contribution is deducted from employee ctc. No fun at work.

The company is open to innovation and readily adopts latest technology.I love the fact that I am a part of a team that markets reliable,high quality products and has a global clinet base.

Compensation is decent, but growth is slow.I have to work 10hours to acheive my target.

Tricky Variable pay. Very lengthy process of approvals even for a very small thing, have to deal with or penetrate through many layers of hierarchy. Unusable banch strength, have interviewed many banch candidates(who were on banch for 2+ years) and believe me they are just shit. Sometimes feel like for a fresher TCS is not at all a good company. Those freshers who got the project can do better but for those who are not part of any ongoing projects are actually ruined and fews are like they not at all want to be in the project. RMG dictatorship, they push the banch people in irrelevant projects, if candidate refused then RMG block their payroll. Have meet few candidates whose payroll actually stuck for 5 to 6 months and never get paid for the blocked duration after getting the projects

Worklife balance will be good, don't expect salary hike and promotion, if you are into management you will get salary hike and promotion with out asking your manager

Dislikes

Even call taxi driver is earning 3k to 4 k per day, he is happy, here even seniors will get 70 k to 80 k max - experience level will be 18 + By the name of work life balance, they won't give promotions, 10 year back what salary you will be getting, almost same salary you will be getting now, they won't ask you to go out of company You will get burnout here , after going through this tough situation you have commitments you have to go and look out for some good job outside
