The best thing about this company if you will not work you can stay as long as you can. No one can fire an employee from unless and until you have committed any crime. There are variety of projects and technologies you can work in. one thing is you can get benefits from the companies owned by TATA including Starbucks, croma, Air Asia and many more.

...’s fine( can’t say about managers you will get only some of them are worst). Second thing is salary and compensation, TCS is very poor in providing compensation benefits. Also the salary they provide is the lowest in the market and specially for the people who have started their carrier in the same. Can’t say about experienced ones but in my opinion this is the company if you want settle and don’t want to switch any more. As people say, it’s a semi-government job.

I like the fact that they provide many learning materials outside the projects we work for free for us employees to upskill. Like many paid expensive valued certificates for employees.

Dislikes

...et in we realise it's not a development project. They also won't let us release. The project is full of internal politics, less salary, bad management just trying to fill their daily quotas. I really like to work with TCS as their security is great, but their staffs are brutal to employees as they also get forced from the upper management. Thats my ultimate guess.

Work life balance is good,job security is like govt job they will never dismiss or fire you if you don't did any work again company policy

Salary hike will be low after some year,and don't give any KY before getting into any task we have to R&D and implement that.work technology is very old,they are very slow upgradation.

BE BTECH background employees good life of tcs others background like BCA Bsc employees no of improvement low amount of salary hike depends on project. support project only appoint BCA Bsc background employees. Next things no improvement and skill set BCA/BSC employees need work then join tcs others wise your complete MCA after join TCS

... a chance to get a good package in next 5 years. They increment likr 40k a year. Which comes around 2k in your in hand salary. Does not even beat the inflation.
