Confused about Salary negotiations
CTC - 8 LPA Loc - Bengaluru, India I have been working in the same company for the last 5 years. My salary went from 3.6 LPA to 8 LPA over the years. I recently put papers, and, started giving interviews. I got an offer from TCS for 15 LPA(12.8 fixed). For more than a month, I've been giving interviews, asking for 18 LPA and many HRs are rejecting straight away, citing it is more than 100% hike from my current CTC. I kept trying and now I am selected for 5 companies - Iris Software, Capgemini, Quantzig Analytics, PwC, HCL, Infinite. Salary discussions are about to start and I'm confused. I'm not good at this. Can anyone suggest?

I like everything about TCS. There is no as such pressure of work. We can take leave easily they consider our problems and treat good. Well trained and skilled managers. Multiple projects are there to work with.

Everything: Politics/Seniors/Working Environment everything is shit. Compensation for freshers is dead, if they hire you with experience, you can get good salary, but as a Fresher it's not good. Managers are real AH

Annual appraisal, salary increament, promotions. If you spend 20 years in TCS you do not see your salary increament as per market. I spent 7 years and getting almost that much salary which I got in first salary in tcs

It is good if u want to be in a place and do nothing and not hoping to get ur salary increased. TCS kills ur skills n keeps u there if u stay long. 2-3 years are more than enough to serve.
