TCS is good for freshers and juniors. its running on brand name thats it.

compensation is pathetic. year on year raise in compensation is very horrible. huge variable pay and its not paid above c2 level associates.

Job security Company presence across the globe is really good If remain in a project there there would be a good chance to get onsite opportunity

Tricky Variable pay. Very lengthy process of approvals even for a very small thing, have to deal with or penetrate through many layers of hierarchy. Unusable banch strength, have interviewed many banch candidates(who were on banch for 2+ years) and believe me they are just shit. Sometimes feel like for a fresher TCS is not at all a good company. Those freshers who got the project can do better but for those who are not part of any ongoing projects are actually ruined and fews are like they not at all want to be in the project. RMG dictatorship, they push the banch people in irrelevant projects, if candidate refused then RMG block their payroll. Have meet few candidates whose payroll actually stuck for 5 to 6 months and never get paid for the blocked duration after getting the projects

though you have wide range of projects, its hard to change. salary is not up to the mark when compared to industry. Hikes are very less. Very rare to see double digit hike. you never get on time promotions once you crossed 5+ years of experience.

1. TCS is good for average skillset people we can service in this company easily. 2. Apart from technical work there are many other process related jobs also. 3. Work life balance is very good upto 10 years experienced people.

Dislikes

Salary hike and perks are very less compared to rivalry company. Onshore opportunity are decreased. Hard to out from one project to other. For senior associate have perform process related work mandatory apart from technical work.

...mpany for long time, salary will be 3 times less than current industry standard. I am good example for this as I worked for 16 years with less salary package. Hoping that some day I may recognise and package will be aligned as per industry standards but it doesn't happened 😔
