Appraisals are 2 to 8% Health insurance is good, top up for parents are allowed. NPS contribution is allowed from our salary. Plenty of projects.

Dislikes

Basic pay is like group d jobs salary for goverment employees for 16 lakhs CTC. This is impacted on appraisal cycle. TCS said completely wfh by 2025, but they killed the concept and asking employees to come office. TCS manager to security guard feels like he is the owner of the company, treats employee like a 🤬 Every one says, TCS is like government job like company. Since they took project at less cost billing, clients will put lot of pressure, which may leads to 12hrs job daily for sure. Night shifts etc could leads health, mental issues. Managers are not willing to hear employees concerns. HRs are not available for listening employee concerns. Layoff happened, If you are not performing well after being sent to PIP process. There are many good IT US based companies which are more transparent of what benefits they offer.

Wfo, Working hours based on project & less Increments. Recommended to come with huge package then only you can stable here till retirement

...ve promotions or Onsite’s or sometimes they don’t release you from the projects. For experienced people the salary will be less, if they resign also they won’t consider to match their expectations but they will hire the external people with high packages. If you want to work in TCS, you have to be prepared that you will have less hikes and managers might be not be good. I still love TCS because of Tata and his contribution to charities and other services. Due to managers and less salaries I am looking out

No worry about layoffs, 100% Job security until unless you are within the policies of tcs

... fresher. Company never care about employees who joined the company as fresher. No Salary improvement. Lots of effort to get single promotion even if you are eligible. Intentionally giving b or c band during appraisal. No career development.

...leted 1st anniversary on 01-Jun-2023.But there is no increment for this period .I have disappointed very much because no salary growth for this period.Why we are working here?There is salary growth.Now I am looking for change the company.one more thing at that joining time also HR people not provided hike also.They told you have just completed 6 months in cognizant.So we are providing any hike.i have lost almost 2years increment.its very bad to joining in TCS.
