Very stingy management Employees get only salary but no goodies, team lunches or sponsored celebrations. Laptops given are poor in condition to many and warranty of the laptops are not tracked properly. Employees are forced to pay for any damage even for a 2 year old laptop

There is no positives about TCS. It is playing with people lifes.

...e location they won't allow you to work from base location. There are no hikes. No extra benefits,no extra pay for doing overtime.awful project management. HR s don't care whatever happen and they try to make it even worse.

Job Security is the only positive that I can talk about TCS. Flexible for people who has location constraints, one can report in any nearest TCS branch by raising a request in portal. Growth is stagnant at TCS (You'll hardly see 5-6% of yearly hike). Suitable for people who are okay with average income (so called independent or employed). Work life balance depends on the project.

Dislikes

Ofcourse very less or laughable salary hike Promotions process is stagnant too. Org won't replace the relieved / released candidates, instead they try to adjust with existing resources without proper KT that effects the project deliverables, product quality and work life balance of the resources. 90 days notice period is really worst and it is not negotiable under any circumstances unless the employee is about to die. (surprisingly this was told by HR) It's not the right place for the people who has certain goals and aspirations. Ex-employees of TCS are not allowed to apply / work for TCS again. ( I don't get the logic behind this) For Freshers, It's not really a good choice to start your career.

...n project allocation. •Yearly/Promotion Hike will not make much difference. •Less remuneration (those who joined after you will earn better compensation at TCS).

Likes

The salary and benefits (like medical, leaves) are good. Job security is very good. If you are not working, then it is best place where there will be work-personal life balance. Best place to work for women.

Dislikes

The learning scope is very worst. The higher management will respect and take highest priority to only clients where there is more revenue generation. The worst management I have ever seen. All the work will be loaded on only one person(s) who are really dedicated. Will not get a chance to improve ourselves by learning new technologies and even company wont encourage. I suggest freshers not to join this company if they want to improve themselves. ITIS is worst just because of less number of resource. The company portal is worst portal and very worst in speed.
