Work culture in TCS is best. It is actually an Employee friendly organization.

Dislikes

Appraisal and Promotion process are not that satisfactory. Hike and variable pay is also not that satisfactory. Growth is slow.

...tes are supportive and the management is transparent. There is a huge cafeteria. Company policies are good, appraisals are fair and they give good salary hike and bonus every year.

Dislikes

Salary is decent but career growth is slow. On the job training is not given to new joinees.

TCS is good Company but the Management makes it worse. TCS is growing very fast, but they forgot their so called employees.

...loosing their employees trust, they are not looking forward for their employees. Never gave bonus. Hard working employees not getting what they should get.

Time flexibility,work culture,work life balance,TCs values learning and sharing,leading change,Customer satisfaction with clients.Long term business relationship with old clients.

Dislikes

Compensation and appraiser process is not employee friendly.Office cab facility should be free for employee.Food quality should be improved.Work from home is not available.There should be some team outing kind of activity in the project.

Likes

Payscale offered is fair enough. TCS BPS work culture is about okay; but lack of flexibility in holiday listings. Work-life balance is a minus point due to long working hours and commuting time.

Dislikes

Compensation is good but long working hours and long commuting time are a big put-off. Also, cross-skills gained through training via intranet are not added to the employee's skill set. Thus the employee gets stuck in the same process.
