Hi guys I am working in PwC India for almost 2 years. And a overall total experience of 6+ year.my Tech stack is Power BI,SQL,Power apps etc I got a call from TCS for a related position My current CTC is 13 LPA How much hike can I expect in TCS ? And also does TCS provide joining letter quickly as I have heard that they often delay it ? And how is TCS currently for work and job security currently ?

Flexible timings, you can do your personal stuff along with job .If you want a place where no work pressure will be put on hear head and you can prepare for higher education or for govt jobs then I assure you TCS is perfect place for you.

Dislikes

No transparent appraisal process, salary increment is very very less even a sweeper get better annual increament In its salary. Work quality is very pathetic ,If you are lucky then you can get a development project otherwise you would feel like you work in a BPO and will only do ticket support throughout your TCS tenure. Internal politics is one step ahead of Indian govt politics. Your skill set would not grow and who knows how to make his /her manager or GL happy even though you are technically very bad then you can fly high like a rocket .

Dislikes

It feels good working at TCS. The work culture is good, with low work pressure and lots to learn but the salary increament as per the seniority and role is low. If the salary is justified as per the seniority or designation, I would never left TCS.

Dislikes

Very stingy management Employees get only salary but no goodies, team lunches or sponsored celebrations. Laptops given are poor in condition to many and warranty of the laptops are not tracked properly. Employees are forced to pay for any damage even for a 2 year old laptop
