There are a pot of things but an important one would be that your line manager holds the key to your life and there is no way you can cross them and raise issues with them to any other person in organisation. Very linear and traditional hierarchy structure, for others do have a look at my rating parameters.

Work place is good employee feel safe and employees get proper salary and facilities.

Work place is good but some uper manager are not good they are following like Bajaj and nbfc culture..that is not good for SCB.

The company is open to innovation and readily adopts latest technology. I love the fact that I am a part of a team that markets reliable, high-quality products and has a global client base. As a result, I get to travel abroad, especially to the US and Canada. But on-site travel is completely dependent on your project and client’s location. Mine is a US based client and they have some offices in Toronto, hence I got a B1 visa quickly. Another plus point is that my colleagues come from various cultural backgrounds, and we work happily in collaboration. I also like the employee re-hire policy here.

Dislikes

Compensation is decent, but growth is slow. The work pressure is very high. Sometimes, I have to work 14-18 hours straight in a day as I have to attend client calls in the evening and sometimes late into the night. Managers do not value an individuals’ unique strengths, which is why I have to take back my suggestions most of the times. I do receive appreciation emails from my client, but they mostly go unnoticed during my mid-year appraisals. Also, there is no on-job training for freshers, hence senior folks like me have to guide them step-by-step, which is a pain sometimes.

Directionless and immature leadership with the age old and non competitive products and services. No proper guidance from the direct manager, and only equipped with the blame game. No motivation to work. No consideration of hard work and no empathy. Despite of sharing that i would be continuing with my further education with my job during my interview and my manager agreeing to be supportive of the same, he left no opportunity to use that same thing against me with a taunt whenever he could. Displaying his ill mannered and uncivilised behaviour always.

...r profile I can say you have more job security than any other bank or n.b.f.c. Appraisal and salary hike is not much here . Lots of travel to be done as the role demands also being standard chartered employee travelled almost all golfing events. Work life balance It's a people centric and employee friendly organisation to work with Very strong HR policies

Team leaders can be baised at times. It's difficult to leave the organization
