...ious job had the best work culture but appraisals happened once in 2 or 3 years. So, the salary benefits compared to that was very good, at least it happened every year even if it is only 5 to 6 %.

The work can be better if the people are cooperative but no one gives you the complete information about the process literally. People who have been since the inception of the process withhold the information with them and literally there is nothing you can do. You have to learn gradually watching and observing but that really takes time and a lot of effort. There is no work life balance.its pathetic. Literally you have to slog and forget about week days. The processes are so messed up and it leads to stretch without any reason. You have to stretch daily some times 13 to 14 a day. 22 to 12 hrs is just normal here. Management is poor. Nobody really cares about your concerns unless you are an asset to the team and really useful. But still partiallity and biasness exists. You have to be loud about ur work and ready to fight for ur rights or else you ll get nothing. It's not easy to work here. You have to mentally prepared for this. Many people I know have left within few months of joining bcos the pressure is such. Not scaring, but you should be ready to handle that much pressure.

Work culture is pathetic i would say where you are expected to work for 12 hours a day without any overtime compensation. If you cant work for the desired amount than you need to provide a medical certificate showing any illness as a reason of not working for more than 10 plus hours.

...appreciation for employees. Management is clueless and only cares about profits. Even they dont do the proper planning and always keeps their employees in trouble with strict deadlines, Hikes and bonus are negligible and they can do the lay off anytime to increase their client wise revenue per head.

...if you can crack it then you can easily make your 10-11 hrs work into 7-8 hrs. Salary is as per industry, they are not paying under and not over too. Promotion, if you work finominal then you can also get promotion in 1 year or if you do usual work what others do, you can be at the same level for 4-5 also.

Not sure why so much negative points get shared everywhere. At this point of time things have been changed alot and can say this could be a best company for those who need to start career in Finance.

Working hours can get extended more than we expected but we get compensation for that so its good.
