Working at Pwc was awesome in terms of pay and benefits. But if you are looking for good work life balance than this is not the place for you.

Long working hours, bad management, poor politics, the CA and Non-CA topic.

Note Above ratings are based on the team I am working with. 1. Great learning. 2. Good salary. 3. There some good Manager's in team recently who are doing exceptional job. 4. Great brand value. 5. Steps are being taken to standardise the process.

Dislikes

1. Work life balance is zero. 2. Promotion are a hit and a miss. No standard metric to evaluate a candidate. 3. A lot of attrition which has reduced quite a bit which is a good thing. 4. So much of uncertainty in the team. 5. No proper communication within the team members. 6. A lot of ad-hoc request even if it not you work people call you directly on to your phone. 7. Some policies are not cool.

Work life balance, US based clients, skill development, Cool relation between managers and Individual contributors

Dislikes

Very less salary hike, they often try to find lame reason to pay you less, less promotion, irrelevant of the year of experience and your expertise of skills.

Likes

Great learning opportunities, strong brand name, diverse projects, smart colleagues, good career growth potential.

Dislikes

Long working hours - even on weekends, high pressure of project deadlines, work life balance goes for toss, compensation and hikes are not great, no team building activities.

Likes

Managers are super supportive. You get the freedom to work on your ideas and articulate them to the client directly.

Dislikes

Salary hike is not good. Promotions depends on office politics rather than your skillsets. Sometimes if there is no project with your team then the entire resource cluster stays unproductive for months. Switching to other team is next to impossible.
