Dislikes

They don't give the salary and benefits they have promised. There is no job security. They is no room for learning and applying. They give negligible hike or no hike. The people are non cooperative. Bad working environment. They don't give freshers a fair chance to learn and prove themselves.

Only brand name. On time salary. No challenging work as you will work with dumb people around. Leads act like overlords.

Bad manager. Harrassment from colleagues and peers. Poor quality work. Hire and fire. Layoffs and Business unit closures are frequent. Super politics. They harrass you to leave the job. Deadly 3 months notice period.

1. You will not be held down by the technologies you know. There are opportunities to move to different teams and learn new technologies. 2. Most of the teams are generally good to work with. They support each other. They stretch when needed. Many go out of their way if you need help. 3. Flexible office hours. 4. Unlimited sick leaves. (Not sure how long this would stay) People generally don't take sick leaves even though they're unlimited. Company is forcing people to take leaves be introducing wellness day. They cut 1 day of your PL every quarter. So you are forced to take an off on that day.

1. Every year a employee benefits are getting removed as part of cost cutting. Many got silently removed without anyone getting to know. 2. Bad decisions at top level are costing dearly. Some businesses were sold off to concentrate on healthcare. These ended up being highly profitable after moving out. New companies were acquired and good Philips products were shut down to prevent overlap. Then you realise the new products are not up to the mark when you compare them to the products that were shut down.

Team leads will ask about your salary details.. if your salary is more after conversion, (e.g. 9LPA), then all the best, they will find some way to kick you out of the company. POLITICS is everywhere!!!

Politics. Bangalore management has no say whatsoever. The projects keep getting shut down. The flexible pay is heavily dependent on the Philips market which is very bad currently. There are people who have been working for 10+ years in the organization and they do not want to change.
