When employees quit, they often leave with unpaid dues. The recent closure of Ascend International left around 70-80 workers without pay for more than seven months. The General Manager, Balaji Sir, conveniently avoids the office to dodge questions about the growing debt and overdue salaries. People are forced to work long hours without any formal leave policy or recognition, and the toxic work culture just makes everything worse. Promises of change are made, but they are always empty—nothing ever changes.
