Global set up.

...ch diversity initiative, has filled middle management with incompetent managers. - Almost no hike, promotions. Diversity promotions are forced by senior management. - Highly incompetent managers won't let you work as they are insecure. - No coordination between business and technology. - I can go on and on. But its pointless.

Morgan Stanley have a great culture. They care about their employees. There is a option to take internal mobility in case you want to work on different projects, technology and role. They provide enough ways to get advance in your career like unlimited access to learning programs, mentorship etc.

Take entry with a decent compensation because yearly hike is average and if you expect a correction in your compensation then it may not happen immediately. Apparently this is the case with most of the companies.

Good Company to work in, good starting compensation offered and nice organization culture. Rest of the benefits and experience depends on the project you are a part of. Over-all a good organization to switch into and good people to work with.

...Outdated tech stack. Don't expect you will be working on latest technologies. 2. Laterals kindly don't expect much hike if you don't have a counter offer or your previous company's compensation is not good.

I was lucky enough to work on 2 development from scratch products at Morgan. This gave me a tremendous learning curve. Along with it, I worked with some of the most hardworking, smart, intelligent people. Although, some people would complain of the lack of work-life balance, I felt the work to be so intriguing that I never had a problem working hard and/or over the weekends.

The salary hikes/bonus were not as good as they were earlier, but that was primarily due to a tough business environment and it's impact on the company's profit.
