Dislikes

Lack of benefits, there is no salary hikes or meaningful promotions. The year end evaluations for freshers and low level employees are more often than not just for show. I have been here for 3 and a half years and I haven't received a single benifit from this and it's not like I haven't been working. I have never been on bench, I am always involved in some project but still I feel like I am wasting my time.

Should appreciate the training provided after joining. As I worked in R&D projects, work life balance was really good.

Dislikes

...wever after joining a new company I think dislikes are reduced to just one. i.e. compensation.

Salary is quite less not for the freshers, also even for the experienced people. No growth in terms of salary and you will hardly get the kind of work you want to do. You’ll feel stuck over here, so get out from this as quickly as possible. Managers will play politics over here for their benefits and you can also face discrimination on the basis of your culture, your opportunities will be given to someone else just because he/she belongs to the management’s culture.

Gives a chance to start a career in IT industry. In Infosys everything is based on the project on which you are working. If the project/client is good then you will get to learn new technologies and you can develop small small application in that project.

Dislikes

Infosys lag behind in many sections like culture, team bonding, low salary hike (though you got outstanding rating), very late promotion and many more.

Working in Infosys is really great, they have one of the best workplaces, only the con here is the salary for freshers starting their career is low, but for that Infosys has launched their flagship program The Bridge Program, if you feel your salary is low, clear those and get up to 100% hikes, or from 3.6 LPA to 9.5 LPA for Power Programmer role.

Before I had issues with my salary but after clearing the bridge program I got a good Hike.
